Starting Issue with my 2004 GTX SC

Ok so I was out on the water this past weekend everything was going great hit a couple of wakes and all the sudden the motor turned off. At first i thought my key disengaged but noticed that the info system was still on. I took the key off and replaced it. And now the started spins and the impeller (jet) spins but the Motor does not crank over. Can someone help on what the issue might be? Thanks JJ
