Stainless Steel wear rings

Whats the story on SS ware rings? Are they better for performance and durability or do they just transfer rock damage to the impeller becasue they don't give?

Are they a press fit in like the plastic or do you have to glue them or something?

For perfomance... yes, they are great.

But, yes... they will transfer rock damage to the impeller, driveshaft, and pump bearings.

I recommend a stock ring. if you are carefull... they can last 10+ years.
