I have owned a 1998 Sportster with (2) 717 engines for several years. No problems until today. One engine starts and runs fine. The starboard engine was turning over very slowly, stopping, turning over, but not starting, only creating a 'buzzing' noise. New plugs installed. After several attempts, same thing. Now, the engine will no longer turn over at all upon pushing the starter button, its completely dead. I checked all the battery connections, secure and tight. I would appreciate any help or checks here. Thanks :patriot:

I know you say the connections are tight... but take them off, clean them well... and reassemble them.

Also... try jumping the solenoid. If you do both of those... and you know the battery is still good... then it's time for a starter.
