Out of curiosity, if I had a sportster, and got the dash panel and gauges from a speedster, would some of those gauges hook up and work? Or would I just have to start from scratch with the gauges? I like the speedster with its rearview mirrors and gauges, and would like that on my sportster, but don't know where to find one to begin with (one reasonably priced) and then hooking up gauges would be fun too. But, it's an idea worth entertaining at least.

I would imagine the tach would work. You would have to put a speedo sensor on the back of the boat for the mph. I have foun a few people on here that are stripping there boats and selling parts. I have a sportster too! I would also like to have the same as my speedster on my sportster.

The wires are all in the boat to hook up the gauges. In my sportster, I have the tach and fuel gauge out of an XP. They work fine… and just plug in. The wires are there for the speedo too… but like it was said… you will need the sender on the back of the boat.
