Speedo pick up tube

I was on eBay the other day and saw a pickup tube for seadoos. I looked over the parts list on line and cannot find the speedo part that hangs off the end of the boat that the water goes in that gives you a relative Speed. They were inexpensive. Just need to know if it will work on my 1996 challenger??

Because that's a generic boat speedo tube. SeaDoo uses a paddle wheel pick-up.

Actually, I just looked at his add again... and it doesn't say anything about being for a SeaDoo. No... it won't work on your boat.

Thanks as always dr.Honda. Will try to find the correct one. Also would you be able to adapt one like on eBay to the boat since they are cheaper and easier to find?

That is for a mechanical speedo. The only way to make it work is to install a new gauge.

While on this topic, I need the new paddle wheel for mine, any suggestions where I can buy one?? It's for a 1996 speedster.
