Had a problem which i traced to a broken wire between the coil trigger and the plug inside the magneto housing, which caused me to have no spark. I also repaird my stator, and didnt think it mattered which order the three yellow wires connected. Ive got about .9ohm on each stator winding and 250 ohms accross the coil pickup trigger.
Took it out for a ride, and noticed the speedo jumping from 0 to 40mph ( has worked fine before), and when I let off the throttle, the rev counter drop to 0rpm ( also erratic in its reading ), but the ski was mechanically running ok. I also got a 12v low on the display which ive never seen before. Rode back to the ramp, switched off to check conections, whent to restart, no spark.
Left for about an hour and tried again, no beeps on the lanyard post, 12.6v on the battery. Brand new battery the day before fully charged.
Ski is a 96 GTX 787, Any Ideas?................
