Speed of 96 Speedster

What should be the top speed of a 96 Speedster with 2x 717 motors with new wear rings and new factory impellers? Mine gps'd at 45mph with just me and smooth water and my old impellers/rings. Motors were at 7k and no bimini top. Motors are at 145+psi compression. Thanks! So far I am loving this project!!

Should be right around low 50s

i got exactly the same boat, my top speed was exactly 50 MPH with driver and full gas tank. the pitch of impeller might have something to do with top speed but it gets out of a hole in few seconds. White wear rings and re manufactured impellers from sbt.

I have a 1997 with twin 717's and my speed gauge shows 60mph .... but gps top speed has only been 54 mph on glass .... usually on 51mph without perfect conditions.... my motors have 138-140 psi and now have roughly 150 hours ...
