Hi guys,

My MAG plug looks like a nice black/brown and my PTO plug is developing some white. I know it is running hotter/leaner and I would like to richen it.

How do I go about richening it? All carb settings are factory and pop off is 36 and 37 on PTO and MAG. Just not sure what to adjust. I will post picture when I get home.

Post a pic of the plugs for me.

The PTO will run a little more timing, and in turn... it will run a little hotter. (this is from crank twist) How does it run otherwise?

If it was mine... I would open the high screw on the PTO 1/4 turn. (but that's before seeing the plugs)

I'll do this in about 4 hours when I am home. The ski runs great, all fresh rebuild top to bottom and electrical. Runs really good but I just wish the plugs were showing signs that it was a little richer. I will take your advice but let's see what you think once I post a picture of the plugs! Thanks, Dr.

Thanks! I’m curious to see what others have to say... just want this motor to last as it’s frah with 10 hours on it!
