I’m brand new to the pwc world and not to familiar with this kinda stuff I noticed this black line won’t stay in the hole like the other side of the split cause someone let me know what this is and how and do I need to fix it asap and please let me know where I can buy the little metal nipple to make it lock in like the other one, so sorry if I sound ignorant I’m just new to this so any info would be much appreciated. My ski is a 99 seadoo xp limited the oil injection was removed and I premix it now.

Those are the rave valves which are basically power valves to expand the exhaust outlet on high revs. The black line is to control how much they should open.

Clean the fitting and area really good with some brake parts cleaner then use some JB Weld epoxy to glue the brass fitting back in.

Honestly with no mechanical experience you picked a bad ski to start with as the 951's require a lot of maintenance to keep running.

If I’m going to learn to dive I’ll go straight to the highest board! Just purchased the whole kit and I’m going to teach myself to rebuild it, this forum and the people here are great and I’ve learned a lot just from reading a lot. I love the challenge can’t wait to see how it turns out

Or if your opinion there is no need to rebuild and the JB weld will do the trick could you elaborate on it a bit? Would I just apply the epoxy on the exposed bass coming out of the hose?
