shove it to the canadians....drill a big ass hole that will be covered by the bottom front seat. BAM....fixed.

also working on a autostore replacement for those spikes since noone has one long enough that will work.

will update this when my "fix" works.

I'd find a "cooler" that you could make fit under the seat and use velcro to hold the seat down.. :) Not sure why you drilled a hole, you can buy the darts from seadoo..

i drilled the hole to fit my arm in to get to those darts. i can't reach when trying to get to them from the ski locker, which is the only other place to try from. darts are mounted from the back side. and the darts from seadoo are about 4.50 each....i can get the pending replacement for about 2 bucks for 2 of them and they are local.

also i don't think the seat backing would be strong enough to hold anyone up if a cooler was to be put in with a bigger hole. good idea though if the seat backing could be made stronger.

hell maybe i'll just use velcro to hold the upper seat rest on instead of spikes.....good idea on the velcro too.

Hmm...I just cut and pushed the old darts out, then I used a dremel tool to cut notches in the back of the seat to install the new darts. Velcro may come off on the highway..

see now you left that detail out. LOL, i didn't think about just cutting notches to install the spikes backwards from what the factory did. they are installed that way on the bottom cushion...btw....lol, dur...my bad. oh well....now i can reach my hand all the way to the front of the boat if i want....oh well. lol the hole is there now so i can install the same way they did and if i ever need to replace them in the future i'll have access.
