First of all let me just say that being a passenger when your gf is driving is not fun. I got tossed off to many times!. When I was riding on my own, the only way I could knock myself off was when I was doing high speed slaloms (back n forth)......I'm officially a seadoo owner for life!!!

Glad to hear enjoy and the only way to fix getting thrown off when your gf is driving the ski is to buy her one for herself :)

You truly do not realize the insecure feeling that the passengers feel until you are one...

And,,, I solved it by buying two.

I sure love taking my friends for a ride. Cruise half throttle for awhile. Just when they start to feel comfortable I hit hard and turn then laugh when they go fly off. Hahaha good times!

That is just wrong,,, Funny,,, But wrong...

My RTX is so powerful I can get the same effect simply by flooring the throttle. They can ALMOST just grab me as they roll off the back.. LOL

Somebody used to make these handle thingies that fit onto the sides of your life-vest so the person behind you would have handles to hold on to... anybody know of a source for these things? I haven't seen them for sale in like forever!

I'm suprised ANYBODY will go boating with ya'll... LMAO! ROF! I guess PT Barnum was right, there really is a sucker born every second. ;-)

I treat my passengers the way I'd want to be treated, no hairpin turns without advance notice no WOT without advance notice. But that's just me I guess.

I was a passenger in another person's jetboat once when while idling thru a stump field (with both visible and just under the surface stumps everywhere) the driver floored the throttle... scared the CRAP outta everyone in the boat! He was in a bad mood and just decided to terrify everyone... I never rode with him again.

Michael,,

There is a difference from being stupid and unsafe and having fun.

Like you, I would NEVER get into or on anything that the guy you are referring to operates..

oh man you guys would hate to ride with me!!!!! My ski spends more time in the air than in the water when im oh lake huron!!! And i am known for throwing everyone off when they least expect it i took my 17 year old brother for his first ride the other day and about 5 minutes into the ride i rit a huge wave and we went so high that we flipped the ski upside down IN THE AIR and it landed on us!!! Its a good thing we both held on to the ski and rode it down till it hit the water so it didnt actually land on us hard it was kinda soft!!!! hahahaha wanna go for a ride???????:reddevil:

Actually, he was my stepfather at the time... my mom eventually divorced him. He was also never allowed to drive MY jetboat, which really galled him because he often had his own jetboat torn up. He tore the hell outta that poor Taylor jetboat I tell ya. Made me sick.

ps. I do like to have fun and splash around... I've spun my jetboat 180 degrees at 30 mph and slid backwards across the lake a good 30 yards or so! It was a blast, but I told my passengers what I was about to try and had them hang on BEFORE doing that... didn't wanna throw anybody out of the boat!

When your girlfriend is driving, hold onto her life jacket. If she throws you, she goes too. That will teach her how to drive with a passenger!!

Uhmmm.... how does one go about finding a girlfriend anyhows? I've been trying for 2 years to get somebody to go to the lake with me with no luck whatsoever... it's like, single women don't like to have fun, or something. :-(

I love to kneeboard myself, but I have tubes as well and always carry a frisbee with me in my watercraft just in case I can find somebody who wants to play frisbee... but no luck whatsoever.

So for lack of any better ideas I've been going to the lake by myself for the past 2 years up till August this year when the lakes all dried up finally due to our drought here. It ain't right I tell ya.

Brock - You are CRAZY. Didn't it still hurt when you 2 hit the water with the ski on top. You are suppose to land hull down or at least stern first then the hull.

I heard after donating a kidney that you must give contact sports......you have made jet skiing a contact sport all on your own.

Keep us posted.
