Was about to hit the water and noticed a hose that i must have forgot to hook up. One end goes to the right side(passenger side in a car) of the body and just goes out there towards the front. The other end is just hanging in my hull towards the back by the drive shave right now...seems like it might be some kind of vent line but i can't find it on any diagram...and I don't see anywhere to hook it up....

HELP!

Haha I was right about to ask about the same hose.
I have removed the carbs and recon a black rubber hose with one end just layin there in the engine hull...followed the hose and the other end was attacthed to a vent on the forward left side of the hull ( seen from riders view) I have a GTX 2001

Yeah...does anyone know what this vent line does?

I have the same thing, 94 GTX
It looks like one end connected to the rear facing vent on the hull and the other end is just laying between the motor and fuel tank not connected to anything.

OK did some searching and it appears mine is a battery vent hose. But if i have a sealed battery it is not necessary so i'm assuming i'm good to go.

Yea, that is the battery vent hose. It's not needed if you have a gel type battery.
