Here in NJ you are required by law to have an orange triangular flag up when towing any one behind the boat.. I was doing a quick search and found some cheaper looking styles that have suction cup mounts which i thought by be ok but kind of think they maybe come undone while underway or if someone rubs against it and whatnot.. then i found a nice option but it looks like it is meant to be held the entire time which again that just seems liek a hassle.. but then i came across this and was wondering if anyone knows if it will work with the Speedster 150's.. well at least the newer ones.. not sure how the older styles are but my 2010 speedster 150 came with a removable stern light that mounts in the storage compartment.. if i recall correclty you just plug it into the receptacle and you're good to go.. i was looking around online and came across this.. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp;jsessionid=3D5O5JEEQ433JLAQBBJSCONMCAEFIIWE?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21276-cat21326&id=0037798018250a&navCount=51&podId=0037798&parentId=cat21326&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=IA&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat601233&hasJS=true says it mounts to most 2 prong stern light bases.. just wondering if thats what we have.. thanks

We started w just an orange bike flag that would go on a kids bike. Someone had to hold it. No one seemed to mind holding. I then did get the one with the suction cup. It sticks by itself but tends to 'fall' backwards when you are under way. I propped it against my Bimini when the Bimini was up. That pole flag looks cool. I would think it should fit your boats pole light receptacle.

Walmart had cheap stern lights for 15 bucks, wouldnt you be able to just tie a flag on that? or on your existing stern light??

That looks kinda cool. I am with the others though. I am cheap. I would find a way to stick a cheap $2.00 flag on my existing light pole.

I hear that.....I dont even have a spot for a light on my ski. I just had my wife take the boat safety test and during the class they said it was not legal to have a bow and stern light on a pwc and was only able to ride them during day light hours:confused:

I picked up a suction cup flag for less than $5 online. Ours are the square ones (like every other state that requires them--why does NJ have to be different?). It absolutely stays in place. I can vouch for that up to about 45 mph. The flag can be taken out of the suction cup holder while leaving the suction cup in place. Put the suction cup on a window (or similar location) when it is dry and you won't ever worry about it coming off.

If you want another alternative, I've seen some that attach to towers or biminis. That would get the flag up even higher.
