I have a 96" GTI 717 engine. Owned this boat for 15 years and am knowledgeable of its working components. Now for a reason I can't determine it is back flowing water thru the 2 siphoning bailers in the bottom of the hull. I have retraced the lines, re-secured all hoses to the correct fittings. I made sure all the lines are cleared of obstructions (none found) and anchored the hoses back to their designated factory points. The 2 yellow 90 degree fittings have been elevated and re-attached as they were from the factory. The only thing I found was at the rear pump nozzle discharge was the 2 hard nylon discharge tubes were not even with each other and I have trimmed them to a uniform length which I determined by looking at my 2000 RX. Do these tubes need to be a specific length, couldn't find any info on these in my manual. I am at the point of just plugging the siphoning tubes off and installing a automatic bilge as seen on YouTube. Would appreciate any advice if you feel I have overlooked something. For the age of the craft its been amazing considering the use and age. Thank you for taking time to look at my post. Have a good day, Seaputt2.
