Hello Seadoo experts :)

How do I know that my Bilge Pump works? I haven't had any problem, I'm just curious. I know there's a switch for it, and it's also supposed to turn on automatically if there's water in there..

BUT

How do I know it's working? When I hit the switch and I don't really hear anything. Is it that quiet?

Thanks

You could always turn the hose on in the bilge area and get the auto switch wet and watch to see if it pumps that water out..

I recommed you install the bilge drain plug and like Thunder suggested, run a garden hose down to the bottom fo the bilge under the engine and run the water for a couple of minutes....You should see water shooting out of a thru-hull fitting in the side of the boat. If after you've filled the bilge and nothings pumping out you have a issue and need to address it before you take to the water.

If you have the battery switch on and you turn on the bilge switch you should be able to hear a small hummm type noise coming from under the engine. If you dont you have a fuse issue or pump issue.
