Side Bumper MODS

I CANNOT get a black bumper for my X4 Hull.. But I can get one from like a GTI of the same years..

Do you think I could simply just cut the larger bumper to fit my machine? Im out of options. I think it would work.. Anyone got some opinions?

I did a fiberglass repair on a seadoo boat a few years back. Part of the repair included replacing the bumpers. We got a roll of bumper material and just cut it to the length we needed and rivited it on. Simple. Id assume that a bumper that is the same as yours but for a different ski would work, you would just have to cut it down.

Thats what I would think. And as long as it doesnt have any crazy curves I should be fine. I got a heat gun I could use as a little extra force if it wanted to fight that badily.
