my 3

Here are my 3, wish I had a better pic of all of them anchored in the water. I will have to get one this year. Got em last spring, trailer needs to be repainted and minor cosmetic work.

I would like to see some picture of that roller setup under that doo. I could use one of those. it would make it easier to work on.

thanks

I got the graphics from www.jetskidetailing.com. Peter is the person I spoke with and they did some custom colors for me. They turned out awesome and the crappy cell phone pics do them no justice! They were great to deal with and the quality and look is top notch!
Here is a pic with the front painted black! I love how good it looks!

Liquid Crystal Display

Hi Mike!

There are a couple of possible reasons. The temp is reading 46 only because I have a very small cyramic heater blowing towards the stern of the craft. It's actually below freezing in the garage most of the time and I'm sure you could make icecubes on the instument display. Second, there is a wierd glare/shadow effect in the garage. Third, sorry for the crappy IPhone pic. After a few seconds the "ghost" portions of the display goes away ... warming up maybe.

However, I appreciate your concern ... and I have heard of problems with the displays "going blank". I hope I don't run into those problems, one of the reasons for the extended warranty too. I'll keep you and the forum posted if it's a problem.

Ahhh! So it wasn't my imagination... I wasn't even sure if it was reading 46 or something else. Strange that a brand new one would act that way.

So how'd you get a 2008 model with 0 hrs on it? Was it sitting unloved at a dealership for 2 years or something? I presume it still has full warranty (just in case that display glitch worsens)?

ps. I ended up taking a heating pad out of the soft fabric slip, and laying it inside my 2006 RXT's hull just under the exhaust manifold... on the Low setting, it keeps it nice and above freezing by 15 degrees or so even on nights when we've gotten into the mid 20's. I also put a remote thermometer inside the hull so I can check it's temp at a glance inside the house. Turns out that with the seat latched down and the cover on, the SeaDoo hull is pretty well insulated. :-)

I bought a block heater designed for this size engine, but have been unable to find a flat spot on the engine block larger enough to adhere the element to the engine. I've felt all around the sides of the engine by hand, and there's like ridges just about everwhere on the sides.... cwap! I may have to wait till I pull the engine out some day in the (far!) future in order to apply that block heater to the bottom of the engine. Grrrrr!

- Michael

This will be the first place I list it for sale. Probably gonna be another year or 2 though.
