Hey guys so pretty much Im looking to purchase a bottom end for a 717/720 engine. I rebuilt my top end and my bottom end ended up being toast so Im looking to purchase a whole engine in need of a top end with good bottom end or just the bottom end. Let me know what you have. Who would u recommend getting a rebuilt crank from?? Also this seadoo was almost given to me but i believe the bottom end is an SBT. Dont they weld their bottom ends and if so am i looking at a disaster trying to take it apart?

Unless you have a hydraulic press, welder and all the jigs for rebuilding a crank, you are better off buying a rebuilt crank or sending your old crank in to have it rebuilt. A rebuilt crank is about $300.00 plus shipping.

if its a SBT crank then it is welded, most places will not take a SBT core as they are not rebuildable (at least not eaisly)
