seeking an education on pipes

ok fill me up with with book stuff

explain SeaDoo exhaust pipes.

I get the concept the shape focuses the sound wave ect ect ect.

But why are there some many different pipes? for the same size engine.

different colors

different shapes

broken in different places or not at all.

Alot of it probably has to do with US Coast Guard regulations.:rant:

Not the colours, but the size and noise outputs.
