I have a 2005 rxt. One of the front corners of the seat (back piece) cracked so it points outward and rubs the right leg of the second rider. It's just held on by the seat vinyl now that it's cracked. The piece is maybe 1.5-2" long. I remember trying to glue it in the past without success. Any advice on how to repair? The seat is in pristine condition otherwise so not looking to replace it. Thanks.

The ski is at the marina so I can't now. I'll try my best to describe. It's an 05 rxt so it has a large front section and smaller rear section to the seat. We're discussing a front corner of the rear seat. It comes to a point in the corners. One of those points cracked

The culprit for the damage?....allowing the ski to be tied incorrectly to dock...with lil to no supervision....rope worked it's way between the seats and wave action did the rest.

So...since you're not looking to replace the rear seat...the other option is to remove the offending corner and trim the cover and secure what's left with ss staples.

It happened to a friend's ski...back when...found a used seat with hydro-turf cover....$35 shipped.

Well I can't speak for the culprit, it was this way when I bought it. I was hoping someone had a similar thing happen and found a good glue to repair the seat plastic

A good glue isn't a prob....any 2 part marine epoxy should do to the trick. The thing will be to stiffen or splint/span the break...holding it in the correct...posture...while the epoxy sets and also to give it a fighting chance of working.

This is what I use to mount my skegs to my ride plate. They've been on for years.
