Hi guys,

Had some gelcoat done on the bottom of my Sea-Doo GTI LE 2003 and it looks great from under... :)

Have a question: where would I find new seats for it or the material? Mine is the blue/white Sea-Doo with a "golden" console and seat (two pieces). I went to the local marine guy and he wasn't able to match the color and I would like to find the original color (he does boat covers, seats and car seats as well).

Also, this seat has a shaped pattern that was formed with some kind of heating machine (the local guy told me) and it seems that if he fixes my seat with some fabric I will lose that pattern because he doesn't have the machine.

Did a few research without any luck. Anyone has an idea where to get that?

Thanks

Benji.

have you looked at JetTrim, Hydroturf or Blacktip? They all have a bunch of colors and will send you samples. JetTrim is the hot ticket if you are OK with a higher price. Nice looking stuff.

all I do in that case above is buy an aftermarket seat cover, staple it over the top of the old one, half hour later, go ride.

Hey benji I change my seat cover I have your same ski but 02 and I change the color of the cover(tan, blue and white) but the blue color not match as well but is already late I install already

You will not have any luck in my experience finding an exact match for the factory color. If i has to be original your only shot is either ebay, craigslist or Minnetonka. You can get the factory part number for the seat and cover and have any dealer run a search that will check all dealers inventories and you might get lucky. Either way it is going to be expensive to go OEM especially with shipping of an entire seat.

I would spring for a custom JetTrim and you will love it.

Sorry, I don't read posts. Lol, also doesn't help I was trying to post while waiting at a red light.

Nothing to see here......move along. Lol

Do you think it would match well with my ski? the whole compartment is also of the same golden color.

No guarantee's, the aftermarket blues tend to be a little brighter than the OEM blue color in my experience, but I think you'll run across that with any cover you order unless you find a shop with an extensive sample collection.

I had a similar problem with my Honda R12X, it was a bright red and I literally had to go through 60 sample books before I found one that was close to perfect, It was a $250 seat I wanted it spot on.

Guess I should buy a new complete seat with neutral color (black or grey). Guess that would prevent it from looking bizarre.

I finally managed to get the exact part numbers but they all seem to be discontinued. I found one rear seat on amazon for 510$ USD !!

Part numbers are:

269000920 rear seat cover (you can look at that one on Amazon US site).
269000918 front seat cover
269000781 strap

Color is Earthen Clay.

Guess I will have to settle for a third party brand and color.

Benji.
