Outboard verses jet boats...
Jet boats serve a specific purpose and is usually the reason why someone buys one, initially anyway.
The draft of a jet boat is minimal. So, those in shallow areas would beneift.
The Jet boat is also a lot more maintenance free when it comes to maintaining a boat with an outdrive. The jet boat is more maneurvable. The jet boat has a look all it's own.
There are many makers of bass boats, but one bass boat looks just like others.
For me personally, there are nice places in the Alabama delta that ride into small channels before you get to open a water side protetcted lake areas. To get there, you have to kinda skim over logs that cross your parth. With a jet boat, you can kinda make a small head start, cut the motor and glide over that log to gain access to areas that outboard motors can't.
There are a million reasons to buy a jet boat. Mine in specific, they are so cool, self contained, engine compartment which allows for less noise. Engine power to weight ration....................I could go on and on...
