seadoo xp 800 97

does anyone know of somewhere i can get a second hand ecu for my 97 seadoo xp 800. bought it in good faith and haven't been able to use as had some serious wiring alterations obviously to get it going. first time i went to take it out it wouldn't start and has been like that for 2 months now. have stripped everything back and everything is pointing to the ecu so...... any advice would be greatly appreciated

Are you blowing the 5 amp fuse? As for the wiring is this ecm in a box or is it open to moister I have heard that these 97 skis come with the ecm not in a sealed box and someone may have wired a 96 ecm that has a sealed box into your ski. I have allso heard that if the vts is bad it can blow the fuse. If it is blowing the 5 amp fuse and the vts is not the problem then All thing custom on this site may be able to repair it for you for $100.00 :cheers:
