seadoo spx speed?

i know everybody always asks this but how can i make my 96 seadoo spx faster? does anyone know any performance websites where i can get performance parts? what are some easy ways to make it faster?

This question has been asked about 1,000,000 times...You could spend anywhere from $500.00 and up to gain maybe 3-5 mph... and the book price on the 1996 spx wouldn't change. If speed is needed sell it and get a newer model. I just being realistic. Seadoo has all the ponies it could get out of the stock unit. If you start changing something you loose something some where else. Develop the top end speed lose the bottom end power.

Faster, more power

Get your heads shaved, modify your intake, use a k&n filter, use a aftermaket impeller, put on larger carbs, use weisco high compression pistons.

I did this on my 96 3 seater gtx and went fom 51 to 60

Bought used carbs, did the work myself. In all only about $250.00 and 5 hours of work.
