Seadoo fires once but won't start

I have a 2005 Seadoo Wake edition that i have had for 2 years. When i went to start it this year it turns over once and then clicks. If feels like it is trying to fire but only does once and won't start. I have charged the battery and put in new plugs but no luck. Any ideas.

Welcome to the seadoo forum Bglov. I would check the wires from the battery and make sure the ends have a clean and good connection. It sounds like the ground isn't making a good connection. It could be the battery isn't good either. It might have a full charge on it but also have a bad cell or 2 and it won't have the amps to start the engine. You could get it LOAD tested at like Auto Zone for free. Replace it if necessary.

Karl thanks for the advice and it did turn out to be a bad battery. Once i changed that out it fired right up. Probably should have been able to figure this out myself but not real good at this stuff. Thanks!
