I have a 2004 seadoo gtx. Just recently the display panel / cluster started going in and out. It will be in the middle of riding and it will just go out I will get Long Beep. It resets on the screen, showing the direction heading, and the fuel bar on the side goes out. The tachometer still works but speedo does not. So the scree doesnt go completly out, i hqve checked the fuse.and followwd the wires and the connections seem good. I could not replicate it on the trailor, it worked just fine, but i went out on it again yestwrday and it started doing the same symptoms. Any thoughts?

Does this happen in smooth water or only when banging around a bit?

Normally this is a connection issue. That said, the clusters fails somewhat regularly. Not an everyday thing but often enough it is not uncommon.

Mostly rough water, but it has been that the display
Was out when started and came back after accelerating and getting to a plane

If you're connections are good then it is a cluster that's starting to go bad.

Yeah the gauges are typical problems for the gtx skis.. Water leaks in over time and it's all history after that

Double check not only the connections but the wires at the plugs themselves. If they are all good, then I would lean in the direction of a cluster.
