Seadoo challenger locked up

I have a 1997 seadoo challenger with a 787 in it. I changed my gaskets on the intake, carbs and o rings on my heads. I also have changed my rave valves. One of my cylinders had been getting wet well i thought is was a leak but guess not, because i took it out the other day and the cylinder that was leaking is now locked up. Im thinking about getting a new motor, jus not sure if i should. Im scared that maybe it was something else like the pump or something. I noticed something when i took it out. The stream of water that shoots out the back doesn't shoot out very far and doesn't change when giving it gas like a jet ski. Mainly asking should i get a motor, rebuild it or junk it and if you think anything else could have locked it up. Sorry about explaining everything im new to these jet boats. Thanks for any help in advance.
 
Can you explain more what you mean by the cylinder is locked up? Is it rusted to the point the engine doesn't turn? Do you have water in it an the engine is hydrolocked?

Water could be coming in from the joint where the exhaust manifold joins the exhaust pipe. Or you could have a leak in the manifold which is allowing water to flow back into the cylinder.

As for the pump, I don't see how it could be getting water into your engine. What I suspect is that you have a bad wear ring, dinged impeller or carbon seal and that's now giving you full thrust.

its seized up. Like it ran hot. My temperature gauge doesn't (not a good thing). Also it seems like i got a lot of power jus the water pressure never changes that squirts out the back jus a steady stream. Also, someone said my crankshaft could have caused the water is that possible.
 
I meant my temperature gauge doesn't work sorry. And also what does hydro locked mean. I took the head off and it looks to me like the piston is seized to the cylinder wall.
 
There is no water in the rotating part of the 2stroke seadoo or on the carbs, a engine that has rust prolly never flushed out after being in the water or someone turned on the hose before having the motor running, another possibility is a untrained mechanic mixed oil connector with water and this forced the water inside the lower end rather than thru the head cyl and out the exhaust the way it is intended to flow.
