If your ski has plenty of power from motor, but doesn't translate to propulsion, Make sure you have oil in your impeller shaft cone. We bought a used ski and motor runs great. Lost thrust. I took the nose cone off the impeller shaft and water poured out. Needless to say the bearings were shot. Do your maintenance. It will save you alot grief later. Just a helpful hint.

Broken motor mounts can fill ski with water thru the drive coupler, or allow air into
the venturi, as cause of cavitation. Bills86e
