Hey everyone,

I have a few questions about the differences in the 951 DI. I have a bunch of DI machines ranging from 00-06 and I want to know what mechanical parts are interchangeable.

The goal: get my 06 3D running again.

I blew a hole In the cases by the air compressor area of the counter balance shaft. I know the head, cylinders, and mpem have differences between the model years but what about the cases? I have an 00 or 01 gtxdi parts machine with a good set of cases. Can I use those in the 06?

Consulting the experts on this one. I'm not a novice to the DI but definitely want to ask before I try to assemble this.

Cases are the same. That hole looks like it could be welded.

Just curious, how many hours on the ski?

Did you recently just do a top end on it before it let go?

I have no idea how many hours. It's a 3d so no display and I don't have my candoo near me. I got this ski blown up. I was however told it was a new motor. From the looks of it however, it's the original motor.
