yea i replaced that would it be the trigger coil beside the magneto

try this first. Go back and unhook the ignition coil that we were just talking about. there should be two wires that hook into the bottom of it a black one and a white one unhook the white one but leave the black on it. Cut yourself a 2 foot long piece of jumper wire and expose the ends of the jumper wire take one end of the jumper and push it into the inside of the white wire that goes to the coil. Then take the other end and touch it to a bolt that has no paint on it thats secured to the engine and hit the start button and roll it over with the plugs out. You should see spark on the jumper wire when it is touched to the bolt. MAKE SURE YOU DO THIS OUTSIDE WITH GOOD VENTILATION I WOULD LEAVE THE SEAT OFF FOR A WHILE TO AIR OUT OUTSIDE THEN DO IT. This is not the safest way to test the system but its fast and reliable. Try it and report back so i know where to go from here.

No trigger on a 720. It has a bracket magnetic plate on the flywheel that passes the stator signal coils. The mpem can't read a signal if the plug on the magnito houseing is unplugged. The black wire in that sheath is the mpem's ground. Are you getting a signal at the rear box coils white wire?
