Fun on the water.
to much oil?
i just had a new 787 rotax motor installed and the dealer put a can of break in
oil and a quart of synthetic oil into gas tank. we only have about two hours
on motor but have a tough time getting it to run on both cylinders. we have
removed plugs and installed new ones. did not correct problem. we let it run for a bit and finally cleared up. we ran it for about an hour and took it home.
when home we wanted to flush out salt water but motor went back to running on one cylinder, could this be that their is to much oil getting into
one of the cylinders? this is a 1996 seadoo challenger 14.2 ft we were tipping up boat to let water drain by gravity from any rain that got into boat. could this cause any extra oil to get into motor? will the problem eventually clear it self after tank full of gas has been run? thaks for your help.
