I've looked at these. It basically consists of a $100 amp, $40 speakers, and a $20 wiring kit for about $500.

Where can you buy those speakers he has shown for $40??

It looks to me like the speakers alone are about $100 plus the two enclosures to put them in, another $100ish

I wish there was a better market for these. I currently have a crappy Pyle system on my GTI. I painted the speakers black because they looked super cheesy chrome. But they sound horrible. Im sure that kit sounds great but the price is not there.

thank you for your replay,I guess the money is not the issue now because i have already bought the item. here in Israel it will cost about 750$....
I was hoping if you can share your opinion how to install amp places, wiring to the fuse box etc...

Thanks,
Oren.

I am not familiar with your model sea doo, but I have hard wired my system directly to the battery using fuses close to the battery and a switch in my glove box. I have mounted my amp under the right side panel but I'm not sure how your model is set up.

RXT -X 260 like the one on the pic. I guess i am going to install this the same way you did...

It came in Tuesday and I installed it. It works great. Blue tooth paired right up and works well but has a short range. Ok with me, my phone will sit less then a foot away from the amp. The speakers sound ok, but I've ordered some kicker yellow label 3.5" speakers, they will be in next week. Also, it is not very water proof. I put a ton of dielectric grease where all the cables plug in and covered the other side with vinyl. Id buy it again. I think it will fulfill all my needs.

Only thing I ride is our huge man made Smith Lake here so I wouldn't be worrying about flipping over or big waves coming over the front. Sounds like if I did exactly what you did and sealed up everything pretty nice I'd be in business. I'm like you with the bluetooth range. If it'll pick up 3ft away then we're all good haha. Are you going to attach the speakers to the bars or what?

Hi guys…
So I and my friends installed the amp and the speakers and it sounds great!!
I know this kit cost a lot but it worth every penny! The speakers pods fits very nice and the amp works great with no harmony distortion in high volume.

I ended up modifying 3.5" kicker speakers and putting them in the pods... Although the amp in the kit I posted sucks... I will probably wait for it to stop working then purchase the same amp that came in your kit. My amp claims 60 watts rms, Id bet its under 10. All the way up and I still cant hear it when Im moving.

Also, the amp has a 14 ga power wire, first sign it wont work well.

my opinion is that quality cost money. after posting you kit i know that it will not sound very well specially in water where the wind and the engine are very loud... if listening to music while cruising on the ski just go and buy the kit... i wanted to add video but I cant from some reason.

I agree. The price was an issue for me, you are not getting your moneys worth out of that kit. I dont want to spend that kind of money on something that will only work for 1-2 seasons due to corrosion from salt water. I have about $150 invested and works good enough.
