Hi, I'm looking for the part number or place to purchase the fuel pump/sending unit for my 1993 Sea Doo Explorer with the 657 engine. This would be the part with the 4 hoses coming off it that will actually send the gas to the Carbs. (Not the baffle that shows how much fuel is in there).

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The fuel pump is attached to the side of the MAG carb. The part with the 4 hoses in the tank is the fuel baffle.

Hi Chester, Would it be common in 1993 that there are two items on top of the tank?
The fuel sending unit (for fuel measurement, which I believe you are referring to as the baffle) is separate from the actual unit with the four hoses on top that the fuel would actually flow through to the carbs. I need the latter unit, the one that actually sends fuel to the carbs.

Thanks!

On the Explorer there are two different parts of the tank unlike the newer skis. The Explorer has the fuel pickup that the fuel lines connect to and a separate fuel level baffle. I think this is where it confusion is.

My mistake. I didn't realize the 93 Explorer had a separate fuel sensor (with the wires) and baffle (with the fuel lines). It's not going to be easy to find one. What if you use a baffle from a newer model and just not use the wires on it?

Hi All, thanks for the replies! I found one on ebay, it looks used so we will see. If this doesn't work, I will try the baffle without the wire hooked up trick. Also, we will fill more than just 2 gallons for the initial fire.
