I'm in the process of buying a 650cc seadoo bombardier xp 1996 from a friend. The problem is that a couple of years back the gear connecting the engine to the propeller got damaged, and in the same time i understand that the crankshaft got damaged as well. Is it solvable? Do i have to buy a new engine? In the following days i'll go pay him a visit and probably take a couple of pictures of it. If i understand correctly it is already taken apart. I'll go and see. Is it worth the time/money/effort?
Any sugestions are welcomed.
