Just saved a stranded PWC today. They got a wake board line in the impeller....ouch!! I guess shit happens (and it was a Yamy) so I we towed that baby a mile or two to the nearest ramp. Then we took one of them (3 is a little unstable) back up river a ways to were we all had launched. Got their rig, and drove back to get the Yamy...THE END.

That's at least a half dozen saves in 170 hours of riding this particular 2003 4TEC. One time (a few years back) we even towed an old restored 30' Chesapeke Bay style boat....stranded during a 4th of july parade. They said over to the side was good, but you guessed it....we towed that bugger right past the Judges Stand! It even got a mention in the next edition of the local marine paper/ magazine.

Keep in mind that my wife and I had never seen any of these good people before.

The point is the following, and always has been...as far as I know. Remember, while you are wizzing by at 300-400 miles an hour with a major wind induced smile...

ALWAYS STOP FOR ANOTHER BOATER IN DISTRESS!! The worst you may get by checking out a potential "SOS" is "that's o.k., we're fine, but thanks for stopping!"

Have fun, stay aware and always check out a situation if you have any doubt.

One day, it could be you or me!
