Hi all,

I started the ski the day before and the morning I was out on the water for an hour.
I turned the ski off to tighten my fish ski eski.
When I tried to start it again it wouldn't start.

I get 2 beeps, the start signal.
I press the start button and hear a click but no cranking of the engine.

I've cleaned the battery terminals, which weren't the best.
I've charged the battery
I've checked the fuses box - fuses, relay and the internal of the fuse holder and it all looks good.

My next step is to buy a manual and check the solenoid and starter motor.

Any ideas or previous issues or experience would be greatly appreciated

Thank you

You need to check the battery voltage when sitting and when cranking. If it ever drops below 12V your battery is bad.

Bad battery connection not charging the battery.
Old tired battery or not charged when riding. Should be about 12 to 12.5 before cranking and not fall under 11 volts when cranking.
Yours doesn't even crank so most likely your solenoid / relay sounds bad, just because it "clicks" doesn't mean it's good. To check that jump the terminals with a screwdriver but be careful as it will arc and throw sparks which could start a fire and also it may start and you'll want to be able to turn it off asap out of the water.
Maybe the starter just happened to suddenly die.
