RXP Won't stop on DESS key removal!

Hi all, just bought a 2011 RXP and found out that removing the DESS key won't stop the engine.

I've unplugged the post and it seems the reed relays are working normally (the connect when a magnet is introduced and disconnect when the magnet is taken away).

I'm assuming it's a short going into the ECU overriding the disconnection from the post.

Has anyone had or heard of this issue. Next step is pull out the ECU connector and look for a short or something.

Any help or support welcomed!

Unplug the post while it's running. If it keeps running, more likely you will need a new ECU.
