Ive got a Seadoo dealer with a 05 RXP Black and green

has 61hrs and faded black paint.

asking $5399 no trailer or accessories

Can the black dull body be polished to shine again?

I know I have the rebuild at 100hrs, so amI good to play this summer and do the rebuild over the winter?

Your location affects the price, but here you'd get the same RXP with a trailer and some accessories. I would definitely try to haggle down to as close to the $5k mark as possible.

Since it is from a dealer, any warranty?

You'll be good to play for the summer IF the washers are replaced. I wouldn't put more than an hour or two on the RXP if you haven't replaced those supercharger washers. If they fail, it'll REALLY ruin your day (and budget).

The rebuild can wait for the 100hr mark unless the supercharger starts slipping, then it's time right then. When you rebuild, you'll get the '08 spec kit AND metal washers come with it.

Hope this helps!

The boat is 3 hours away and I will try to get it for the asking price with a single trailer and new washers. or $5k with single trailer.

here are the pics the guy sent me...Is it all supposed to be shiny? I know around the handle bars that material is going to be hard, but the boat just looks dull

The oxidation can be sanded to help it look better. Worst case, you can swap it with a new piece.

I have 2, 2005 RXPs and I can tell you for a fact they should be shiny... You can tell they have been in the sun for awhile.. One photo from behind you see the water setting in the foot rails.. That's not shine... That's water.. Yes the handle bar area is a flat black.... Makes me wonder what they ate not telling you...

Slug-O

I just noticed something in the first photo.. Ask if there has been any mods done to the Doo... The sponson on the side is not factory...

They just called and said it has riva exhaust and the side fins.

He said that the boat runs great and was tested in their tank (Seadoo Dealer stuff i guess?)

I offered him $4700 with a trailer

They will do 4800 w/out trailer.

I did soem otyher looking around and found some other boats in better shape for a bit more money.

1) 2008 RXP-X 255 1 owner with 3Xhrs in my city.

$8500 w/ Trailer and cover.

It is a little less than retailbut more thanI was going to spend.

I had a budget of $6500 but this nearly new boat for $2k more might intrest me.

what do you think.

It's REALLY, REALLY hard to beat an RXP-X, especially for that price.

Figure you'd need about $2k worth of mods on an RXP to get close to the speed. In addition, it wouldn't be new.

If that RXP-X has any left over warranty, I'd say FORGET ABOUT IT AND PASS THEIR CONTACT INFO MY WAY INSTEAD!

You won't be disappointed. But don't be an emotional buyer...still talk that guy down. The money you save can always go into customization :)

Got pics of the RXP-X?

Askig price was $9k

I offered him $8k and he said he was firm at $8500. Im hoping he will meet me in the middle at $8250, That will at least get it taged for the summer.

Bad thing my Girl said I shouldnt spend more than $7500...

Well the guys with the 05 called me back and are hungry to sell it, They said $5,500 with a double trailer, but no rebuild on SC. Service has already given the green light on the boat.

So the RXPX is $3k more, but newer and faster and in better shape.

Well I got the RXPX 2008 for $8350

Included trailer, bumpers, anchor and cover.

Boat has a few scuff marks but overall in good shape.

On the test drive I learned what a scared little girl feels like.

holy Shih Tzu-That thing screams, 0-65 (in choppy water) in a snap.

Its gonna be a wild summer

Pics to come
