Hi

I just took my 96 gsx out of storage, went to look at the engine and I noticed both plugs had rust on them, is this normal?.... What should I do if this is a problem?.....or is it because of condensation over winter storage?

Thanks in advance

If the ski was properly winterized before storage, fogged etc. Just change the plugs and it should be fine. The metal on spark plugs rust pretty quick in certain environments. For a quick glance down the holes grab a small mirror and take a look. Also make sure to take care of all the other required routine MTC, jet pump oil, etc. The electrical connections should be looked at also.

its ok, but, crack them loose, and start to take them out, then blow off with compressed air so no rust falls into cylinder ... or, i guess you could vacuum off either way is ok, except wife will be mad ...
