Have a 93 XP I installed a 720 engine. The cooling hose flow/hookup is different then the 650 orginal. Running on the garden hose the engine stays cool to the touch. Do I need to have some kind of cooling water flow restriction for this 720 engine to keep engine at proper running temp? In my Clymer Sea-Doo manual for a 717 it shows a calibrated outlet fitting for the right rear head coolant outlet. Any know what size this fitting/restriction would be?

I don't know of any cooling restriction, SeaDoo's shouldn't be hot to the touch. Both hoses at the rear of the engine, flush hose and intake hose are 1/2".
