rub rail replacement

I just got finished removing the purple rub rail on a 95 speedster. I want to go back with a black rail and insert. I know i need a 1 1/2" x 5/8" rail. Should i go with the flexible,ridged,or semi ridged?

i have been thinking about the same thing for mine... where are you looking to place your order? I didnt think you could order the rub rail? How hard was it to get off?

I ordered 40' off peir supply (part #V21-9678BKA20D) for $67.98 + shipping. These rails or not a exact bolt on but its alot better and spending $300 for ones from seadoo. Its not a easy task getting the old one off. There is over 150 rivits that have to be drilled and there stubern you cant just drill the haed off and push them through. i had to drill evey one out. Use a drill bit thats just under the size of the rivit. But its not to bad about 5 hours and a case of beer will git the job done.
