I'm debating here, to patch with green gelcoat or just paint another color.

I think the previous owner did paint the side of the seadoo green.

I would mind another color but it can stay green.

I dont normally beach my seadoo. Just ride and put them on the trailer!

black is where it is at.... See the shamu thread. But caution, you may want to do some other stuff as well... ;)

I really like the black. I was thinking may be a grey also to match the seat cover and maybe paint the hood grey also.

Should i just do some gelcoat patch and paint on top of it?

That would look good. But full disclosure, I do have to touch up the bottom from time to time using the appliance paint. Especially if it has been beached on course sand. The best solution would be to spray it with black gel cote. It will likely need to be thinned down. Search this forum and the web for spraying gelcote. I think people use something called a Preval sprayer for it. If you dont mind touching it up sometimes, then the epoxy paint works great.

personally I'd leave it alone, you can't see the bottom when its in the water.

with that said if you are determined, i'd do green gelcoat.

What can I use to fill the holes and scratch? green gel cote is like 130US for a quart... I'm trying to save some $$$ for a crank here!

If you are painting it you can just use white gelcoat or even glass filled bondo. How can
Also get cheap gelcoat repair kits from amazon that comes with colors you mix in. It won't be perfect but you can at least have green on it. They are like $20-$30.
