Replacing Starter Relay - 07 3DDI

Hi, I have a '07 3D DI. The starter relay (solenoid) failed, so I went to get a new one. They gave me a relay, and said that it was a superceded part number. OK.

Well, when I went to install it, it won't fit onto the existing bracket. Looking at the parts fiches, there doesn't seem to be a supercede for the bracket.

Anybody else had this problem? What is the work around?

Pretty sure I used the bolt for one end and a zip tie at the other.

Figured I would have to do something like that.

Not very good replacement part service on BRP's part.
