Hi everyone,

Does anyone know what pumps will fit a 2000 GTX? For instance will a pump from the '00 gtx DI or gtx RFI fit? Are ALL pumps for the 951 engine the same?
I need help on fitting this one.

I have a 2000 GTX, ME if that matters. The cone on my pump cracked last year and all the oil leaked out causing my pump to seize and essentially welded the impeller to the shaft burn burning the bearings. My father is a mechanic so we had air tools, 3 big guys turning a wrench, tried heating the impeller etc. and could not get it off. Looks like I have to replace the pump. ]

By the way, this is my first pwc and I LOVE IT! Thinking about upgrading in a season to something else, not sure I can afford an RXP, what's a good $5k machine?

Cheers!

I have a extra 98 GTX pump if it will fit. It does need a wear ring. But it is completley rebuildable.

I'm a "carb" guy. With that said, the 951's are nice motors, but when problems come about, you can chase ur tail, finding the culprit. On ther hand, the 800's, well, you can run them underwater, and it not effect anything. With that much you can throw down, on a "carb" machine, you have many choices.

The 4-strokes are cool, but work'n on them plus parts to fix, are expensive.

How much are you selling your pump for? I assume it has the same specs at the '00 gtx (951 motor, 155.5mm pump etc.)?

Just make me a offer..Im tired of looking at it on the garage floor. Remember it needs a wear ring. I took it off my parts ski.
