replacement seat clips " darts"

scgck- have you been following me??! I am on the same quest for my Utopia! Today I went to NAPA and Auto Zone also- same story- the Chrysler darts are the right diameter but are too short. I even went to a body shop confident I would be walking out with my new darts. WRONG!! They suggested Napa, gee... thanks!
I can still use my old ones but they are stressed from removal and bent- would have been nice to put my new $700 upholstery in with new darts!
I am still searching and if I find them I will post.

I might have a solution. I went to True Value hardware and found some snap in plastic inserts which reduce the dia. of the hole in the hull to about 1/4 in. I enlarged the hole in the hull to 3/8 in. to accept the inserts. Now if we could find a longer automotive "chrismas tree" clip we're in business. Good luck.

I found some replacements! But you have to buy shutters for your house to get them!
I had to replace some shutters on my house- I bought some shutters at Home Depot and when I opened them they had the "tree" clips in there to attach the shutters to the house! Same length too! I laughed my as* off when I saw them.
They are slightly smaller then the diameter of the holes but your True Value product should do the trick.
I am going to use some of them and some of the useable old ones. If I have any left over I will let you know and I will mail them to you.
If you need shutters they were $30 a pair!
