Replacement buzzer from Radio Shack

I suspect the buzzer on my 1997 GTX has gone bad (since it no longer beeps, but the engine still starts).

Does anyone know if this one from Radio Shack should work okay? It's only $10 compared to $60 for the stock replacement from Sea-Doo.

volts are right, 10 milliamps. yeah, it'll work. tell you one thing. seadoo doesn't manufacture buzzers. they buy one from some electrical manufacturer and put a 9 digit number on it and mark it up 1000 percent. but then, so do all vehicle manufacturers.

I use them all the time. Cut the plug and use the original plug end. Solder the end on and shrink wrap the ends to keep it water proof again.
