Removing iBR assembly

I have an iBR activator with a bad motor. I cannot override the iBR to move the reverse gate manually to get to the bolts to remove the gate. It’s locked in forward with no neutral or reverse. How can I remove the cable from the gate? Will I have to cut the cable from the iBR motor in order to move the gate? Thanks

What year/model? IBR has several models over the years but there is no cable to cut. You will unbolt the linkage from the drive rod of the IBR. The forward position is where it should be to remove the bolts.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have a 2016 Wake 155. I have finally realized how the iBR operates. My problem now is removing the bolt from the linkage. I’ve loosened it using the tools I have on hand, a ratchet wrench and thin offset 13ml boxed in wrench. It’s probably about a third to half way out. I ordered a stubby ratchet with a swivel head hoping to get in above it. Any suggestions on tools? With the linkage removed I should be able to remove the bracket and reverse basket by just removing the 4 bolts holding the bracket right?
