I am trying to locate the rectifier in my 2003 Sea Doo GTX 4-tec. The low voltage light keeps coming on and I am thinking it is a problem with the rectifier. Does anyone know where I can locate this on my seadoo and if it may be the cause of the problem? Thanks.

We replaced the battery last summer and the low voltage light still comes on about 45 minutes after we charge it. I want to try to replace the rectifier but I haven't been able to find it. Do you know where it is located on the 2003 GTX? Thanks

Rrm is right; don't change anything until you've tested your charging system voltage. I would hate to see you drop money for a new regulator/rectifier only to find out that you have a bad stator. If I remember correctly, you should have 13-15 volts at the battery when the engine is at 4000 rpm.

OBTW, the regulator portion of the circuitry is what controls the voltage.

2005 RXT my rectifier is in front of the tank just below the inspection opening. No one ever answered that question for me either, so I thought I would tell you what i found on mine.
