So i removed, disassembled, inspected and cleaned my RAVE valves. Completely removing all pieces, replaced with fresh gaskets, and replaced the O-ring on each cause it had hardened significantly.

My reason for doing all this is because when i did a quick inspection earlier in the week, i noticed on the PTO RAVE, there was a good amount of oil on the underside the cap with the red dot on it. And also on the black cap with the 10mm "nut" on top the bellows.

Thinking the hardened O-Rings may have something to do with this, since the bellows looked perfect, and had no holes in them, i figured i had fixed the issue. SO..... i took her out for a day of fun yesterday, checked again this morning, and there was oil in the same place on the same one again. I have no clue how it's getting "through" the bellows. Only thing i can think of is maybe the spring that goes around the top of the bellows is getting weak?? Does this happen??? I'm no so much concerned with the little amount of oil/gas on it, as i am concerned that this would mean there is pressure leaking by, thus not allowing the RAVE to function properly.

Any ideas??

It could be the spring or the bellows that need replacing. Unless it is leaking a lot I wouldn't worry too much about it.
