Rapid clicking when starting

2005 gtx 4tec been in storage now have a rapid clicking sound when trying to start. Replaced solenoid and battery. Checked fuses and ground cables for corrosion. Cleaned battery terminals but still just clicks. I can bridge the solenoid and get the engine to crank so it’s not a seized engine or starter motor. Any ideas would be appreciated.
